Currently I’m taking it easy. I have 3 beds planted with greens/brassicas in my hoophouse and outside I have 1/2 bed of garlic, a potato tower, and 2 baby fruit trees.

In March I’m planting onions, carrots, and greens and starting about 50 tomatoes/peppers inside. April/May it all goes outside along with melons, zucchini, cucumbers, and lots of companion plants.

Sometime around June it starts to become overwhelming madness to water and give each plant individual care. Doubly so if my hoophouse is still producing chard the size of my zucchini.

My peppers always take a long to sprout so I only have a picture of dirt and plant labels..View attachment 31123

I'm going to wait until February before starting any tomatoes.
Yep......I feel your pain, Lori.......If my income came from growing peppers from seeds......I'd starve to death.......

I’m up to 14 beds now with about 7 only 1/4 full of purple onions tossed around. 32 tomatoes at 9-10”, peppers, marigold, and basil started. I might start like 150 more plants once the tomatoes go out in a couple weeks. This is a Cherokee Purple.

My peppers are already like trees. But I can put them in the greenhouse only in a month. So now I put them on the balcony. I hope that the cool weather will stop growth a little. I already see the flowers on them. Many gardeners say that this is bad for seedlings.

These Bulgarian peppers I bought today from a guy from the video. They are small and early. I hope for a good harvest.

I've been repotting the chillies regularly and di another few dozen yesterday. Most of them are in flower (small flowers at the moment).

Sowed lots of beans and some courgettes (zucchini) early on in the week and they have started germinating.

What are your favorite supports? I was thinking of two piece square assemblies made from cattle panel this year but that is pretty heavy duty and lighter or easier is appreciated.

Nothing about my supports is any easier. I repurpose materials mostly but have some cheap cages too. I just sort of go “oh crap that needs support” as it’s growing and overreact accordingly.

Transplanted from root riots into 9x9 pots. In the chili community there is a lot of discussions regarding lights and more and more is moving towards white lights with broader spectrum, so I'm trying out the Mars-Hydro COB and pro II series.

The curcubits need a support. I manage to trellis the cucumbers. We are in the eye of the tropical depression so more rain to come. I am glad it was not a bad blow. It could have been worse.
