Unidentified succulent, taking over.

Does anyone know what the specific name of this succulent is? It is growing in large groups.Each "strand is about 8"-16" long. I transplanted, from a friends yard, 3 plants last year. Since, it has taken over about 60 sq feet.

I feel more than sure that your plant is Euphorbia Myrsinites - commonly known as Myrtle Spurge - which as its known to be incredibly invasive in some parts of the world - is possibly why yours is rapidly taking over your garden.

I don't have any of that ,
But I bet it could be held in check with a steel rake
