Hello readers,

I was wondering if you've got any tips on keeping my lawn evenly green. The grass usually gets a little darker underneath the tree I've got in my garden. So, any advice?

Kind regards from the netherlands

Try some shade grass seed. There are many beautiful ground covers that grow in shady areas, and they might make a nice contrast in your yard.

Ben, I think whatever seed you use will not change the situation.
Feed the grass with high nitrogen liquid feeds once a month throughout summer. This should establish an even green colour
You dont say what tree is growing there or what shape it is....picture would help :)

If you cut your grass weekly I would not cut under tree quite so often to give it chance to recover.
