Went to the Doctor for my Annual Check Up.

Not supposed to be walking without a Cane or Walker.

Supposed to have Home Health come keep an eye on me.

So they said all this after your doc appointment?

No the Doctor told me because I fall regular and forget stuff.

Thing I find it harder to walk with Cane or Walker but I have to remember lots of people do it.

When I am building beds and put a plank around the edge to stop them spilling onto the path I have taken to using sticks that stick up about 4-5 ft to hold the plank back, gives me something to hold for balance and is long enough not to fall on and hurt myself.
The district nurses who visited when I had an open wound from my leg op were really nice, thoroughly looked forward to their visits. Smile and be positive, I think they get a lot of moany, grumpy old people and they really appreciate it.

Proper training with a physical therapist is a must to walk with either. If not both can be dangerous. and certain heights are needed for the individual person.
