Yes, been there many years ago. I did purchase the seeds "black hollyhock " from the gift store, supposedly a flower he liked, or invented, who knows, been too many years ago. They did grow well for a few seasons.

Thomas Jefferson received a yearly shipment of as many as 700 species of seeds from the Jardin des Plantes in Paris, France.
