The first crocuses have already opened their flower! Is my first time with bulbs and a simple little flower makes me very happy!!

We've had a somewhat rainy weekend. The daffodils have opened their flowers and have filled me with joy . They have a delicious apricot and yellow tone. Next season I will buy some more to put them together with these and make them more abundant. One of them has come from another variety . I am very happy with the quality of the daffodil bulbs, of the 10 that came, all ten have sprouted and all have floral stems

The purple regals have tripled in size compared to last year, so the one at the end is already peeking over the railing and receiving the eastern rays in those branches, so those branches are already flowering, a month and a half earlier than the rest of the regals will, which look north and need more time.

Greetings to everyone! Yesterday the sun came out after a whole week of rain️, and with it the first tulip opened . We were expecting a more muted tone, but it's exciting all the same

. Now waiting for its companions to open

After four rainy weeks with overcast skies (which have felt so long), the sun finally shone a little more today. So I took the opportunity to take some photos of the tulips. It's been the wettest March in Spain in decades; the dams have filled up for a summer without restrictions

. The other variety of tulips I planted (which I've left in a slightly shadier area to see if they thrive in less sun, so I can plant them there next year) are already close to opening their flowers

.

The Dutch irises, bought at a gardening supermarket, aren't showing any flower spikes or buds at this point

. Is this normal? I think I'll pull them out; I don't think they'll flower. Please, those who are experienced with them, tell me if it is normal or not that they are not yet developing the flower

... the same with the crocuses I bought there, only 2 out of 15 bloomed. At least I am happy with my tulips and with the sun finally shining a little

The tulips look great! Dutch Iris usually bloom later, most of them around here are just leaves right now.

The tulips I had in a shadier spot (Black Hero) have bloomed. My wife says they're too dark. Of the 10 I planted, 8 have thrived... not bad . The weeks of rain are finally over, and we're having several truly spring-like days .

Today is a bit cloudy . The orange regals are already opening their flowers... they'll reach their peak in a few weeks .

The zonal geraniums are in full bloom right now, they can't fit one more flower . The coral-toned ones have developed more than the fuchsias... I wish it were the opposite.

Yesterday I went to the supermarket to buy some groceries and found summer bulbs at a very good price, so I bought three packets . This week I'll take out the tulips, which are already past, and plant these bulbs to see how they turn out... although, as we say in Spain, cheap becomes expensive...

The vines and bignonia have already sprouted, and they're quickly putting out more leaves . The terrace is getting very busy... too many flowers and colors for me . My wife loves it 🫡!!
