Single, unusual plant.......

......found, today, near my work. The leaf structure seems unique and it's tiny white flowers are located on the back side of the branch. Does anyone have an idea to it's identification ?.....Location: southeast Alabama.

Using the S.E Plant I.D. website, it appears to be an longifolia var. spathulata, a.k.a., slimleaf pawpaw.
