The title isn't as bad as is sounds upon second read. This little seedling was found growing with a baby tomato plant in fox farm light warrior seed starting mix... no way it came from anything but the mix itself. It's odd, bright red leaves AND stem, it's like it sprouted from hell on fire... WTF IS IT?

You'll have to leave it a bit to find out as it grows. If mine, I'd carefully transplant it soon into a separate pot and watch it (patiently) It will be easier to identify then with a bit of luck.

I don't know your location but in Britain the shape of the leaves and the red stem suggest Sycamore. Elsewhere perhaps Maple.

Whoa, sounds like you've got yourself a mystery guest popping up alongside your baby tomato plant! Bright red leaves and stem straight out of the bag of Fox Farm Light Warrior mix? That's wild. Since that mix is supposed to be clean and ready for action, whatever sprouted is likely a stowaway seed that hitched a ride. Without a pic, it's tough to play plant detective, but it sounds like some kind of amaranth or maybe even a super ornamental pepper seedling, given the fiery look. These guys can have that devilish vibe with their vibrant reds. Nature's full of surprises, huh? Keep an eye on it; you might have accidentally scored a cool new plant

My guess is beetroot, their seeds do a very good imitation of just another bit of dirt.
