I recently got this potted bougainvillea for my balcony garden.Since I am completely new to gardening I was hoping to get some tips on taking care of this plant.
Is this called bougainvillea glabra?
It is kept in my south facing open balcony.
How should it be watered?
Does this plant attract lot of pests?

Please help me out with any advice/guidance for this.

South facing is good. They love sunlight. It will need at least 4-5 hours of sunlight daily to bloom. In a pot, water as needed.
Water well, then let the top of the soil dry before watering again. So once or twice a week. It depends on soil and if grown out doors or indoors. In the winter, water maybe once a month.

Yes, it is B. glabra and is virtually pest free. When you feed it use a low nitrogen food with extra phosphorus for more blooms.
