I had mentioned somewhere that I didnt believe the science on plate tectonics. I just read this article that kind of explains the way I see it.

I looked for the thread but couldn't find where I mentioned it.

Yeah complex it may be, but we know earthquakes happen...

I think its simpler than they thought. The continents are shifting not just the surface. Sea floors are their own continents.
