We have area of 15 feet triangle shape with large maple tree in the end. It has been cleared of weeds and ready. Need to know what to plant that will look good when entering the house.
Want low level hardy plants ,(which do not grow into large bushes ) that are evergreen. On sunny day area get sun all day except under the tree.
Name of any plants would be very helpful.

The very first thing to consider is your soil. The fact that you have a large Maple tree already there would suggest to me that it will be acid, and so acid loving plants will be the best to plant. Rhododendrons and azaleas come to mind, as do various low growing heathers.
