Planting recommendations for Silver Queen Corn

I have a garden about 100" square (not a raised bed) and have some Silver Queen Corn seedlings that I want to plant. I spoke to some people at the garden center and got conflicting information.

What is the recommended plant spacing and row spacing?

I always plant my corn 1 ft apart, both ways. I also plant in blocks, usually 4 rows with a walkway between blocks. This enable me to maintain and harvest from a walkway.
