Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

Yes, I concur, Culinary Rhubarb (Rheum x hybridum, a complex hybrid of R. rhabarbum, R. rhaponticum, and possibly other species).
Rheum rhabarbum is native to Siberia, Mongolia, and northern China, R. rhaponticum is endemic to Bulgaria.
Rheum is in the Knotweed Family (Polygonaceae) and has been eaten as a vegetable since ancient time. it is now best known as a sweetened pie filling.
