Peony ‘Edulis Superba’ (from my garden, May 31, 2016). This was the first bloom from my new Peony garden bed. This Peony is a globular flower of a lively old rose pink and very fragrant and floriferous. It has been long grown for commercial cutting on account of its dependability and earliness among doubled forms. It is medium tall with somewhat spreading stems and is one of the oldest cultivars in Western nation’s commerce.

I used to have peonies of white and pink colors, but the morning glory flowers choked them on year when it was coming back up.

Yours is pretty! I love their scent!
