No Monarch Butterflies this year

Ah, that sounds easy enough If they grow well in the zone I'm planning to move to... I'll surely give it a try! They'd make a great compliment for an all white garden

Monarchs were late this year and I'm still seeing butterflies in December! Good thing it's been relatively warm approaching winter. My mlikweed plants are leafing out again, and because I thought winter was moving in, i started cutting them back. I placed all the stems I cut in the soil in the same containers as the parent plants and they appear to be taking root!
