Hi,

I am running out of ideas and have searched the web but cannot seem to find what I need. Hoping for some input from other brains here. :)Basically, I have a raised bed built as part of the house in the front, about 5 feet high with about a 6 ft clearance to the roof, pic attached. It has a very obvious center so I'd like a tropical plant that can be featured there. I am putting 3 crimson red dipladenias on either side, pic attached of an example plant... I was thinking of a bird of paradise for the center but they get huge so it wouldnt work. I'm not sure what else. Any suggestions?

I am zone 10b.

Ps. I sort of want to stay away from blue and purple for this area.

Thank you for any input!
Smiling

I thinking you like Bird of Paradise. I would suggest Parrot Beak. Aka...Heliconia psittacorum ‘Andromeda’
Grows 4-5 tall with beautiful orange and red blooms. Partial to full sun.
There are varieties of yellow even pink.
I believe it’s called Dwarf Neon Parrot Beak.
