Native Garden Expansion

I believe this is going to be the 5th expansion for my native garden. You can see in my blueprint below, the areas outlined in green will be the new additions. It will bring an additional 220 square feet of pollinator habitat to my yard, and bring my main native garden size to around 1100 square feet in size.

I'm planning on removing the grass (actually, mainly creeping charlie and clover) over the next few weeks and I'll be seeding the areas this winter with various native species. I'm not sure exactly which species I'll be adding, but I know I'll be using Hoary Vervain and Blue Giant Hyssop for their ability to grow fast and bloom in the first season.

By this time next year, it should be filling in quite nicely, and will hopefully explode in color the following year!
