I have plants with questionable names.

I'm thinking common names that people know plants by.

Continue to call them what people know them by?

Got Wondering Jew and Devils Ivy.

I've heard the same about Jew's Ear Fungus  Sod the woke idiots and carry on calling things by the names we've always used.

Not heard anyone complain about French Marigolds yet

There is a plant called Moses In a Boat that refers to the flowers being in 2 bracts that are flattened with pointed ends. It does kind of look like a boat. Wandering Jew is a close relative that has very sprawling stems that grow all directions; wandering. No-one seems to have a problem with Moses In a Boat and this is the “wandering” version. Seems okay to me.

Bloody nonsense, it's what they are called, I've got a chilli called 'Devil's finger'. They will be wanting us to breed a Blue eyed Susan next.

Gold? That's capitalist isn't it?

How about 'White Campion'? I guess 'White Jacob's ladder' would be even more offensive :)
Tell them 'Get real !'

Well, maybe we could call these ''Wandering Hebrew'' and ''The Ivy of Beelzebub'' and the people who didn't like the first set of names will probably work out the new ones if given time and patience :rolleyes: and then they won't like those either.... and THEN, we will just have to call those people ''Idiots'' or something very similar 🥱 (maybe we could discuss fools parsley another day)

My brother had bees on oil seed rape and sold a jar of honey to an elderly lady who said she didn't like it at all. He replaced it with an identical jar and instead of saying it was rape honey told her it was from crucifers. She liked it much better.
