Mulch

ok right after EASTER i`m gonna start puttin the seeds in once they come up i want to add mulch - i can get PINE STRAW EASY would that be good to go with or should i use hay or straw ?????

By pine straw I assume you mean the needles. Anything will do just fine, since it is on top of the ground. I use wood chips, but have used pine but never got it in sufficient quantities.

Pine straw is used pretty exclusively in our neighborhood and I see some pretty nice gardens. I have yet to put in a new batch (have only been here about a year), but its on my to do list.

I have a friend who does not like mulch at all. He absolutely does not.

Give us picturez of his output. What does he grow?

He may grow tulips in a flower bed that is plain soil. After the tulips have bloomed, he digs them out. He may plant summer annuals.
