Hi, I'm looking for Morocccan Wild Thyme, either seeds or small starts. It has hairy leaves and pink flowers that bloom in the spring and summer. I've read that it's drought tolerant once established and very good for my climate, Boise Idaho US. Does anyone know where I can find some? I've looked at quite a few plant and seedling businesses locally and online. Thank you!

Hey I am looking for Thymus ciliatus as well. Did you ever find the seeds or plants in the USA? I'm in Texas. Need it to plant for my bees for special honey
Thx

Sadly, I did not find any. I did elect to buy Earthwise Seed Company's Low Grow Lawn Seed, which is drought tolerant. I'll know more this Spring when I plant it. This is for a dog-friendly backyard. Good luck with your search for the bees.

I hope you can just substitute with something more available. It's getting close to time to start your seeds indoors if you plan on planting plants for summer.

How many different types of thyme are there? google.
There are 350 species of thyme. Historically, thyme has been associated with courage, strength, happiness, and well-being. Most are frost-hardy, small, aromatic evergreen perennials that flower from late spring to mid-summer. Google
