I have a Monstera that I have recently moved from a Southern window, to the corner of the room with a grow light above it. He seems to be doing fine, although it has just been a couple of weeks.
Tomorrow I am purchasing a Thai Con Monstera, also with the intention of using a grow light. These are big plants, and my window space is used. I like the look of Monsteras with a lot of space around them, rather than crammed in front of a window.
Has anyone any experience with growing Monsteras using grow lights only?

How's the plant doing now friend? Monstera does very well under artificial lighting. I remember seeing them in office settings under fluorescent lights. I was amazed at how they could thrive just under fluorescent for 10 hrs a day. I like using at least a 180-watt LED grow light for a large area of topical plants.

Hi Sharon,

I’ve done it before, and my Monstera grew nicely.
Just watch out if it starts stretching too much.
If this happens it might need the light moved closer!
Also make sure the light is bright and looks like sunlight.
