Hello guys,
I have two
questions about my Monstera adansonii. Firstly, its aerial roots finally started growing, but due to misting the coir pole, the soil is absorbing too much water. Do you have any advice how to avoid this?

Secondly, despite the younger roots started growing into the coir, the older, woody ones don't. Will they ever grow or should I cut them off?

I'd be grateful for any advice.

Give it as much light as you can so the moisture is less of an issue. The old roots will eventually sprout, give them time.
