Money tree dots and holes

Hello everyone,

About 1,5 week ago I purchased a very nice money tree. The soil was dried out completely which made the leaves droop, but the store assured me good watering would do enough to get it healthy again.
So I took a chance and took it home with me. Since then the leaves perked up again and a whole bunch of new leaves are starting to pop up, which is great.
The last few days the leaves are starting to get more and more tiny holes and a few are a bit crooked. I was wondering if this is damage because of the dried out soil or if there’s a pest, like spider mites.
I am not seeing any visible bugs or webbings.
If this plant is sick I can get a refund from the store, and I definitely don’t want anything contageous in my home because I have a lot of other plants.

thank you in advance :)

Direct sunlight can lead to leaf-scorching, but these plants can do pretty well in low light. I think the change in environments is causing the leaf problems and should get better in time with the right environment. Keep the soil moist but not wet and your plant should recover. Thank you so much for your reply, I’m happy to hear it will recover with the right care. I will do my best to provide it.
Thanks!
