My money tree is dying!

I've been searching the web for days and ive gotten many different answers on how to deal with my money tree.
It has
-drooping leaves
-brown leaves
-trunk is shrinking and a little soft

what do i do!!!

Please don't bother it mines did the same but there is a new on coming up under the one just wait untill you see the new one just clip the old one but let the root stay in the ground
