I've looked online. It pulls up as a lily, sometimes, but several lily lists do not have it.
Lilly or not?

I'm pretty sure it's Spathiphyllum. My mother grows it too, it's a beautiful plant! I keep one near my computer, I love looking at it, I always do this when my eyes are tired.
Another name for it is Peace Lilly:)

I would agree with Claudine and say that your plant is a Spathiphyllum - which although this popular indoor and outdoor plant is commonly known as a Peace Lily - it is in fact not a true lily because it belongs to the Araceae family - rather than the Liliaceae family :)
So in theory - technically speaking your plant is not a lily.

The flower on the peace plant is a treat. Mine does not bloom that often but when it does I enjoy seeing it. I forget some times that it even blooms I see it so little. They are pretty when they do bloom.
