Ligularia dentata 'Britt-Marie Crawford' is an exceptional purple-leaved form of the Toothed Leopard Plant. A choice perennial for bright shade and wet soil. The species Ligularia dentata is in the Butterweed Tribe (Senecioneae) of the Daisy Family (Asteraceae), and is native to Burma, China, and Japan.

Ligularia prefer rich, organic soil. If needed, add compost to enrich the ground in the garden.

If planted in the fall, Ligularia will have time to establish roots in the soil before the next growing season starts.
