Today was our last day to do our volunteer gardening in the walled garden .

We all did our bit today and now we leave the walled garden winter tidy to go back to bed to the paid staff over the next months.

I shall miss my days up there but I am not far away and can still enjoy the pleasure of walking in theegrounds.

So for now as Karen said Sleeping Beauty is awake now .

I shall follow her trend dont think our Karen will mind.

But we shall leave Sleeping Beauty to go back to sleep and we shall be back in Spring .

For now I shall leave you with some photos of today.

You can see more photos on the flicr link .

The walled garden is so gorgeous, I'm sure that it was a great pleasure for you to work there, I would gladly take care of a garden like this too:) Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures, I love them all, I simply can't pick a favorite:)

Stunning photos, scotkat! I bet you'll miss it over the winter, but like you say - at least you can visit. I'm looking forward to seeing the spring pictures already! :)

You skills and passion of gardening is amazing. Your photography, with the viewpoint from the flower is simply spectacular. What a lovely place and I am sure they will take good care in your absence.
