Hey guys, I’m new to having a garden with palms and I’m trying to figure out what is wrong with my lady palms. They are planted in the ground and are almost full size. I have looked up diseases and insect problems and they all look the same to me. Potassium deficiency and leaf spot looks very similar so I’m trying to find out what is the cause so I can treat it and not harm it anymore.

Any help would be very appreciated.

The first thing to do is remove the worst-looking leaves. Then apply a complete plant food. If it has a good amount of potassium and magnesium that should take care of any deficiencies. Wait a few months to observe any changes to older leaves and watch the new ones for symptoms of deficiencies. Your palm doesn’t look like it’s on its last legs so you probably don’t have to worry about it too much.
