I usually row about ten plants of Brussels sprouts. The best cultivar in my experience is Jade Cross Hybrid.

I grow taller cultivars, either F1 Montgomery or F1 Brigitte, which give more sprouts per plant, but have to be harvested gradually, from the bottom up, rather than all at once.
Obvious saving of space, and, although they blanch and freeze very well, I prefer them freshly picked.
I grow from seed.
