Ixora leaf turning brown/black

Hi All, last 2 days my ixora leaf turn black/brown. The last 2 days was really hot but i did watering the plant. Almost 50% of the leave turn black/brown. Im not sure what to do other than waiting for bad news. Any advice very much appreciated. Tq
