Is this some kind of fruit tree #1

I am in the Seattle area. These trees I will be posting came up I am thinking because I bury my compose all around my yard and eat various fruits like nectarines, peaches, pears, apples and plums.

I just know by the shape of the leaves, the striations on the leaf margins and the lobes on the leaves what it isn't.

Difficult to tell from the photos but it looks a bit like Hornbeam.

Anything in particular worthwhile about keeping hornbeam? Do you think these will produce nice flowers, maybe fragrant ones?
