First time growing tomatoes and i am cutting suckers off because I don’t want too many branches but i want to leave 1. My question is do i cut very top off or is that new growth?

Looks suckerish to me if I'm seeing right.

Mine was easy to identify early.

Yeah I noticed new growth on very top growing new stem so it was a sucker, i clipped it off. Thanks for the reply.

If you are leaving one sucker, i.e. having two stems, then the first above that proto-truss is the one you want.
