I definitely started too soon this year (PA)...Some of my tomatoes and squash are already flowering. 😂Forecast isn't showing nights consistently above 50* until the 10thso, best case, That's the soonest I can get everything outside in the ground.

Also, some of the flowers that I started from seed are blooming as well 🤣🤣

I am glad I started my peppers early, though. They are doing much better at this point than they did last year since I started later last year.

Not sure it hurts anything...as long as you up size the container when needed.

Sounds like you could use a cold frame to keep your plants growing vigorously. Cold frames are easy to make and well worth the trouble to get an early start on the growing Season.

I started my peppers and tomatoes to early this year (again). Next year I plan to plant them a month later in solo cups and avoid the extra potting up before planting out. I'll give up that extra couple of weeks of production to save on labor. I have a hoop house that I can move them to when I'm ready to sew my cold crops.
