Opened the shade this morning and looked out at what looked like our second ice storm this winter. My tall, graceful birch melted last week before high winds arrived, luckily, and looking at this, I thought to myself... what are the odds of not having damage two times in a row? When I looked out another window I could see there was no ice on the sidewalks, and on the shrubs it was just jagged crystals of ice! Well, I guess I can be lucky twice!

Absolutely no harm. 5°F at photo taking, all gone within one hour and up to 13°F. MY kind of frost...

It certainly looks very picturesque so I'm glad to hear there was no damage done! :)
