Hi im Dee, I live up north in a place called Newcastle upon tyne, I have been gardening for about 10 years, or should i say learning about gardening for 10 years, the first 5 year wer'e hit and miss and a very expensive time as a lot of mistakes were made, i am now more confident in my planting choices even if i do push the boundaries a wee bit for our climate. I will be reading through the forums and hopefully get to know you and your gardens before spring arrives.. Dee..

I lived in Scotland for a bit, which, if I recall correctly, had a similar climate to N-on-T. I never had enough space for a garden, but even if I had, I'm not sure I would've been brave enough to try growing anything other than gorse in that particular climate. :)
