Plants in northern bc

Hello, trying to identify these plants. Based on smell I believe one is possibly a herb - maybe oregano? Not sure, any info is appreciated. I'm in zone 4b in Canada. Thanks in advance

The first one looks like Astilbe and the 2nd one potatoes???? Ummm... could be very wrong and funny for the 2nd one!

Actually the first one also looks like stinging nettle. Did they sting you? Or it could be catnip? No, I have retinal detachment which doesn't help. Please don't say sorry! I'd like to crack a joke too many!

Devon: If you touch it and you feel nothing, it won't be a stinging nettle. Stinging nettle always leaves you with an unforgettable and regrettable experience. Enough to make you cry and the pain is lingering and memorable! LOL!

Actually, you can handle most stinging nettles without risk of being stung when the plant is young and the plant does look very young. As it ages the thorny stingers will become harder and that's when they will sting you.
