Hi guys,
I'm wondering if you could help me and hopefully give me some good advice? what is the best weed killer to use that has the best balance of eliminating weeds while protecting the "good" plants and being safest for the public?

The best weed control is to pull the weeds by hand before they go to seed. Using herbicides are risky and never do the job and are frustrating. The chemical companies want the public to use there products every year. If they really worked so well, why do people still have weeds every year?

Also if you keep your weeds cut off at the ground with a mower and a bag attachment bagging the grass before the grass goes to seed in time the weeds will be gone too.

Most of the time when weeds flourish in the yard its an indication that the soil is incomplete. If that's the case then the weeds will return in due time. Work and build the soil for a weed-free environment. Good luck friend.

Welcome friend, glad to see you. Starting a garden or plants is so rewarding and worth the time. The one thing I have noticed with beginners is they usually overplant or plant too much in the beginning and end up unable to take care of the plants. I recommend that you start small and master a few plants and then add on as you learn. Keep us posted and if you need any help, plenty of people here would love to help you.
