Hard Soil frustrations

I learned something. Here in Texas I have never seen or heard of Rootgrow and the only Mycorrhizae I have ever encountered is in its pure form. I wonder why its not sold here?

Supply and demand.. You can phone them and ask them why they don't stock it.. A trick to get them to stock it..

So I have a question, so in theory, once a plant is fully developed and growing. Say a tomato plant for example once its 2-3 feet high, wouldn't hard soil as long as it has the proper nutrients grow stronger and have a bigger roots with hard soil as opposed to soft soil? It has to work harder to get its roots through? Or do plants not adapt like that.

NO! The plant itself is only a small portion of the entire plant. Most of it is underground and being underground soft pliable soils means easier and better root growth.
