Garden lights question

Lights that aren’t electric. The area doesn’t get a lot of sun so Solar power lights are sort of out. Is there another alternative? Or something else I can put in the ground to make the garden stand out?

You can get solar lights with a panel that has a long extension that can be placed in the sun if there is a sunny spot not too far away. Other then that only thing I can think of is getting the solar lights that come with cheap AAA rechargeable batteries and replace them with Energizer rechargeable batteries so the charge lasts a lot longer.
