Can anyone offer advise we have just done our back garden, my garden sloped up a hill so we have created two tiers we have raised top part of garden by a foot. We have dug down lower level to even it out if we hadn’t of dug lower the bottom level our wall would of been 4 foot At this point our next door neighbour started there garden which all ready sat lower than our original garden they have dug whole garden out gone 3 foot lower put a wall up. By the way I love the wall but we have lost our privacy my garage runs along side my garden before works started I could be in my garage not see in my neighbour garden now I can, on top tier I’m over looking there garden into there house. As you can imagine relations are out the window, they don’t want anything up as it’s there wall made it clear we can’t attach anything to it. Where do I stand on on fences as I now have a less than 3ft wall on top and 5 foot on the bottom. When reading up it isn’t clear on tiered garden, we have spent a lot of money to create a dream garden that may as well be a communal garden.
