The honey bees were working the Spiderwort over this morning for the pollen. You can see another bee's head right above the one. My hives are on the other side of the yard from these Spiderwort so these are more than likely bees from my hives. :)

Echinacea or Coneflower - The prickly-headed coneflowers belong to the genus Echinacea, in the same family as black-eyed Susans (Rudbeckia). They are tough plants with coarse foliage, but their abundant bloom makes up for the rough edges.

God, I love every single shot, not only becuase the flowers are gorgeous, but because your pictures look so clear and vivid! Great job! Are you a rpofessional photographer? You have to be! Your pictures are the most high quality ones I have ever seen around here (I've great a memory for this kind of things).
