Fig Plant

I recently purchased a fig plant and shifted it into a pot. Once it gets stable & lil mature then I will shift it to the ground. But it seems to be in stress because something is eating its leaves just like net of a spider. I am uploading two pics. Kindly advise me how to cope with it.

A beetle probably. Do not use a systemic poison if you plan to eat from it. There are some powders that will work.

Spinosad maybe. You need to identify the bug. They usually are active in the early morning or in the dark of night.
