Hi

I decided to encourage my FLF to branch. I cut the top off quite far down and now have 4 new buds grow from the top four leaves.

Two of the existing leaves have not grown in ideal directions, one is twisted, the other very up right. My concern is whether this will have an impact of the new buds growing from those leaves and whether I should cut them off.

See the attach images. Arrows point to the new buds. X are the awkward leaves.

The hot houseplant of the moment (or really, of the last few years), the fiddle leaf fig makes a gorgeous, architectural statement in any room of the house. But while this lush plant, with its shiny, violin-shaped leaves, is stunning, it can be hard to keep alive.
You can save your effort and time by viewing this good resource. Good tips related to Fiddle leaf fig.
