I've always thought Neil Sedaka wrote some good songs, not like a lot of those written around three or four chords.

I like to play his slow version of this one.

This Darlene Love track was played during a fashion show in the new series of "Miss Fisher's Mysteries," on Alibi tonight .


She really got badly treated by Phil Spector.
She recorded "He's a Rebel," which he released, crediting it to the Crystals, who had to learn the tune later to perform it live.
The DVD, "Twenty Feet From Stardom," in which she is interviewed is worth watching.
