I've seen that; I may have even pinned a how to article for it. Have you ever done it, Becky? It seems a bit labor intensive. I know you can order them already candied, but I don't know anyone who has ever made their own from scratch.

Nope I've never tried it myself, but I'd be tempted to give it a try around Easter time though - primroses on top of an iced fruitcake would look so pretty :)

One of these days I will have to give it a try. Right now I am on the hunt for a nice rose variety I can get hips from. It seems certain types are better than others for that purpose. Now is probably a good time to try and get cuttings from folk who have good hip producing bushes.
