I'm in Georgia. The spot it came from was where I grew sweet potatoes last year. I had dumped a bunch of old soil that I had used to grow other things in this spot. It's the only spot in the garden I did that. It was most definitely moving. I made sure of that. It is alive. Here's some pics. I still have it in a bucket with soil.
Does anyone know what this long, very thin, white worm I found in my garden while pulling weeds is?

That looks rather like the worms that came out of a stray cat's backside. We took in a stray recently and that was just one problem we had to sort out. Fleas was the other one UGH!
