I'm complete rookie so I need some help :)

I planted 4' Limelight Hydrangeas and used Miracle Gro potting mix instead of garden soil.
Should I replace the soil and re-do it or forget about it?

You picked out nice plants, they are very pretty. Don't mess with them now since they are already planted. You can move them in the Fall. You will need to monitor the soil moisture and soil temperatures very closely. Never water your plants without feeling the soil first with your fingers. Let the top inch or two dry before watering again. If you put a thermometer next to plants you and monitor the Sun's heat closer. Using that mix will be ok just have to watch it closely. If you have any problems let us know.

Thank you for reply....

This area is under maple trees so these hydrangeas don't get much sun and soil is never too warm or wet (thanks to tree canopy).

Maples will drop sap for about 5 weeks a year during the Spring. When you see sap you may want to cover your hydrangeas on bad sap days.

wow they didn't last long...
... I was under impression that 3 times / week watering is recommended.
Seems like they need more water than that unless its not water related?

Is there any chance for them to recover? Ot it is a loss?
