Did I just mess up?!? Guzmania bromeliad pup...

Hi! I had a beautiful bromeliad... with 3 huge pups, I waited till they got quite large. I went to separate, and dangit if I messed up all 3 and accidentally removed leaving the roots attached to the mother so. Did I just ruin my chances of having these triplets thrive? I'm literally beating myself up. They were going to be so pretty too!

Welcome @sassybutterfly1 . Maybe and maybe not. I would trim away the lower leaves and put them in a vase with water and see what happens. You may be surprised.
