I am a total newbie here and pls advise me why my lavender seeds never get to germinate even after 2 weeks? (Actually only 1 tiny seed pops up)

I am not sure too dry or too wet but I tried my best to spray water to keep the soil moist most of the time.

There are three very important aspects of sprouting lavendar seeds. The first is soil temperature. Too hot or too cold and they will not sprout. KEEP the soil temp at as close to 70F as possible. One or two degrees either way and they won't germinate. The second and as important, the seeds themselves MUST be fresh. And last they MUST also undergrow cold stratification. If you don't do these things you will not have much luck at all.

They also like good drainage, I've had some growing in the tarmac paving.
I'd grow them outside if possible.
