If I want to grow strawberries then should I plant day neutral or alpine strawberries? Alpine strawberries do well in cold climates so you might see a few wild strawberries on some mountains. Day neutral strawberry plants do well in moderate climates and will produce strawberries as long as it is no hotter than 90 degrees and no colder than 32 degrees.
